Shri Educare Ltd. (SEL) is an educational services provider set up by the Arun Bharat Ram family, which has a legacy of interest in education in India. Mr. Bharat Ram’s grandfather, Sir Shri Ram, set up many highly reputed educational institutions, such as the Shri Ram College of Commerce in 1926 and the Lady Shri Ram College in 1956 in Delhi. Mr. Arun Bharat Ram, Chairman, SRF Ltd, is also the Chairman of Shri Educare Ltd and the SRF Foundation, which runs The Shri Ram Schools in Delhi. Mr. Arun Bharat Ram is also the Chairman of the Shri Ram Education Foundation, which manages the Lady Shri Ram College for women, in New Delhi. Apart from its many initiatives in the K-12 sector, Shri Educare has also established Pre-schools in Gurgaon, Vasant Kunj and Greater Kailash 1. The Shri Ram Early Years (TSEY) caters to the growing need for quality education in the pre-school sector. The TSEY pre-schools reflect the values and culture of The Shri Ram Schools, and build the foundation for formal schooling in a child.
An ardent educationist who believed in child-centric and value-based quality learning, Mrs. Manju Bharat Ram was dedicated to transforming education in India covering both the privileged and the underprivileged sections of the society. The Shri Ram Schools (TSRS) which she started in 1988, are a living legacy of her ideals. An advocate of quality education in India, Mrs. Manju Bharat Ram had the honour of representing various government and non-government organisations involved especially in the field of education in different capacities. Her philanthropic activities extended to other fields as well. Her priceless contributions have led to recognition in the form of various awards. She was the recipient of the Priyadarshini Award in 1989, the Karamveer Puraskar in 1989, the President’s Award in 2003 and the Padma Shri (posthumously) in 2013.
Her vision and philosophy is woven into the very essence of The Shri Ram Early Years (TSEY) and in the hearts of each of the members of the team. The values she lived by and the environment she envisioned are nurtured lovingly and her guiding spirit ignites the souls of all who are part of this enchanting institution. This physical space supports the development of their gross motor skills. Morning assembly at the Amphitheater is the time to pray, sing and enact along with teachers and friends. These activities help strengthen their communication skills and enhance their confidence levels .
Colourful book racks in each Class Library stacked with age appropriate books add to the print rich and stimulating environment in classes.
